Our Rooms
Kirrip Room
With a dedicated age appropriate yard, the Kirrip Room comprises of 11 children between the ages of 6 to 18 months and four full time Educators each day.
This room is a nurturing space where strong bonds and respectful relationships are valued and recognised as the cornerstone of all successful outcomes for the children, their families and the Educators throughout their journey at Raleigh St.

The focus is on settling children into the care environment and forming secure bonds so that trust and connection is established. Children then feel secure to go about the business of learning about their world through play.
Buladu Room
The Buladu Room has 10 children per day, between the ages of 1.5 -2.5 years. The Early Childhood Education and Care program is delievered by 3 Diploma Qualified Educators each day.

Learning is focused on foundational skills that support social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development. The curriculum is often guided by play-based and child-led learning approaches. At this stage, learning is shaped by children's interests, strengths, and interactions, with educators acting as facilitators who observe, document, and extend children's play in meaningful ways. The program supports holistic development while aligning with EYLF and NQS standards.
Murrup Room
The Murrup Room is our 3.0-3.5 year old room and is where our 3 yr old kinder program is delivered to up to 17 children a day. Kinder is provided 3 days a week by our Bachelor qualified Early Childhood Teacher. There are also 2-3 Diploma Qualified Educators providing kinder support and an ECEC program at other times.
We offer a play based indoor/outdoor program with a flexible routine that encourages children's natural desire for autonomy.

The curriculum focuses on emotional regulation, language development, social skills, early literacy & numeracy, self-help skills and independence. We strive to foster each child's interests and celebrate their individuality.
Djerring Room
The Djerring Room has up to 22 children between the ages of 3.5 -4.5 years, and is located at our second site known as Raleigh St Community Kindergarten, 140m down the road at 2A Raleigh St.

4 year old kindergarten is provided 3 days a week by our Qualified Teacher, supported by 2-3 Educators that also provide the ECEC program on non- kinder days.
The 4-year-old learning programs lay the foundation for lifelong learning, social confidence, and school readiness. Through emergent, play-based experiences, children develop critical thinking, problem-solving skills, resilience, and independence in a supportive and engaging environment.
